Hey! Thank you for initiating the sequence of reading something wonderful on a Winter Sunday.
I appreciate you with all my heart.
Assuming you didn’t understand someone after you accuse them of spewing nonsense is much harder to recover from.
If you’d checked your understanding first, you’d be in a better situation.
Knowing the sequence of doing anything is a supreme skill to possess.
The right order in which to do things can be life-altering.
Without diving into a lot of background and backstories, let me help you with some real-life examples where knowing the right sequences can be an absolute game-changer.
#1 Screens
Sleeping for 8 hours is good for your health.
Although, going to bed at 10.30 pm is better than going to bed at 2 am after watching Netflix.
So, Netflix binging during the night is not the same as binging during the day. One harms more than the other. Think it over.
#2 Scheduling your Mornings
Time-blocking your early mornings for all the deep-work is better than leaving it late for the evening.
Getting rid of all the heavy burnout early can not only get the job done but relieve you of any potential stress for the remaining part of the day.
Deep work can be anything. Writing, reading a heavy book, or finishing the labour-intensive job.
Working out in the afternoons might be better than doing them in the mornings when you’re fresh (and ready for creative work) or in the evenings when you’re too tired to do them. You can sequence this better to get more out of workouts and productive hours.
#3 Studying
Getting to know the outline of the syllabus or the chapter before diving into the material might lead to a better understanding of the subject topics.
Simple but effective? I know right!
Conclusion: Ask yourself
Many times, we can improve our life by just asking a question: Is this the right sequence to do things?
